I enjoyed sitting down (virtually) with Jeff Chao of ShortArm Solutions on the Cyber Pro Podcast (YouTube) to answer 6 questions in 6 minutes for cybersecurity professionals. I reiterated the importance of forming partnerships for small to medium sized businesses (SMB).
For smaller IT operation teams, you may want to outsource cybersecurity monitoring, endpoint detection & response (MDR/EDR), and other capabilities that your team doesn’t have the bandwidth or the skillset to tackle. The alternative is trying to build out that capability yourself (which may be cost prohibitive to say the least).
